Sunway , dolphin and sea lion show

 My first time go to Sunway , was with my mom and my cousin . That was during my posting time at Shah Alam . We went there a few weeks before Christmas . Sunway piramid always have the best decoration for festive season or any event.

We took photo with the statues , Christmas tree and ect. We walk around , thought of going to the theme park but we got lost!  By the time we found it , it is already evening and lots of people are queuing . Change plan ~change plan~!

We walk around outside the Sunway Piramid shopping mall , i found this big stitch ! So cute and so big ~!!! Then suddenly , we saw many people walking towards the edge . We followed and found out there is dolphin and sea lion show !!!

Click the photo for bigger view . The dolphin were swimming around greeting the customer ( just like the photo i took )!!! Unfortunately , Sea lion were inside the cage (hiding them before they perform ). I lost my sea lion show photo ! i guess i must have deleted it because those sea lion doesn't seems like enjoying to perform the show . They are oversize and i feel that they are kinda of been torture .

Well, since i can't change the dolphin and sea lion's fate ....we shall enjoy their show ! Since i have dolphin photo only , i will explain what they are doing . They hop around the water , spinning around , using their body to kick the ball ( OMG , that scared me ! they jump such a height and kick the ball near towards me !!!) .Here is the trick, whenever they done a task , they get the food ! Whenever the dolphin heard the owner's whistle, they will start to perform a task .

There is one part , when the sea lion is performing , the dolphin were shaking their tails on the surface. It was extremely cute but extremely difficult for the dolphin . They are still consider a fish ,they need water to survive.

Dolphin is a very intelligent mammalia ! They also perform simple mathematics counting ! This video is showing that the dolphin are laughing . They counted wrongly and they laugh for their own mistake .

Lastly , they thanks by jumping around the pool ! Luckily i am not sitting front sit , if not i am soak with dolphin's smell ( when dolphin were performing , there will be water splashing out of the pool~ )! Oh , you can take photo with the dolphin or u can touch the dolphin but u need to pay extra money . Well , i won't waste my money to do that . There is much easier way to take picture with the dolphin .

My Best Gift From my Mom

My best gift from my mom , my doggie ' SHADY ' ~!!!! He was a lovely gift . I was lonely when my brother gone to university , my mom busy working and i have some problems at home . I always don't have affinity with dogs, they just come and go. That's y i have lots of dog toy or dog dolls around me before i meet shady. My friends or my family always bought me a fake dog . Until i meet shady, my mom took me to see him . At first he was ignoring me . I think he was sad because the owner that want to buy him didn't come to pick him for weeks .

I think it was fate to meet him . I decide to take him back home because he attracts me with his sad look . He looks like me ...very sad . At soon as the cage was open , he was jumping very happily . We also surprise . Other dogs are jealous and they start to keep on barking .

When i was sleeping downstairs , he always sleep with me ( i got scold , my father say it was dirty ). I guess this is why he got pampered too much . After i went to college he was crazily scared of being alone . After a few scolding from my mom and some time , he get use to it .

When i retake form 5 , i was really really sad . Friends , they just go and leave . Hahaha , i guess i never learn . They don't shade a tears for your failure . That's when i get my phobia . They just don't give a damn , a call or sms . That bad times , i cross over with my family and my dog. Shady always jumping around and play with me . My only playmate.

Although after i went to college or after graduate, i seldom play with him . He still welcome me , the faithful one . Got once he was injured by a big dog , i was so freak out . It was when i was sleeping and my mom suddenly wake me up with this bad news . My father was in shock that he was patting my dog . We rush to the vet . I cry looking him so painfully . Thanks to the vet he was safe !

He is a part of our family . Like a child , everyone pampered him . Shady is the name that i gave him!

TimeSquare , eating at Gas Online 14/5/2011

 On Friday , me and my mom took a trip down to KL. We stay in my aunt and uncle's place . Since my cousin was also free ( i guess =D force too ...hahahahahh , evil~*) he meet us up on sat , and we decide to go time square for a movie. Before we go to watch movie , the most important thing is fill our stomach with '' Food ''! Not a single human being can live without food . AHHHhh.... Cut those crap and goes to the main point~! 
My aunt introduce us to this restaurant ' Gas Online ' . Guess what ? We are the first customer ! Well , it is always like this , since we are early bird .

This photo was taken in gas online but it was forbidden to dine inside . I guess they not yet fully open and decorated . It gives me a chill feeling with those Egypt drawing on the wall .

Other two type of sit : - The top two is like dining inside the cave . - The bottom two is like Japanese style . Sit down on a cushion and eat together . There is a curtain to separate one table to another.
Believe me ,Gas online's is mean to be for lovely couples to have romance there. From here , you can imagine the four of us dining in this kind of surrounding >///< . 4 of us squeezing ourself inside a small space , with a tiny table that enough for a couple to share a plate of food , gloomy light that creates romance and very cold
( i guess it was mean to give the guy a chance to take of his clothes and put on the girl , to show his love ? ) . OMG , it was real funny !

They have free wifi . I think it was to give those who are not a couple to free them from boredsome .

My cousin was seriously looking at the menu . They have lots of choices , they are very common but they have unique name . Such as those drinks : peter pan , tarzan , etc. I think it was not my luck to drink tarzan and enjoy the banana splitz . It contains banana . They say they are out of banana and the stock not yet come . I guess waiting for the banana to ripe and plucking is hard .

Let's go to the food ~! We all call those with marks of face in the menu( that means it is recommended ). This is sour sop juice .

This is kam heong fried rice. Err...i know , it's very simple dish . The rice is decorate like a love shape . My eyes pop out because all the dish come out with big plate but contain such small amount .

Redang chicken . Spicy~ the belacan was nice but too little ...T_T sob sob ~

Lastly the banana splitz was change into lychee splitz . It was kinda of weird and not according to the picture shown in the menu. So i didn't took a photo of it . After eating , me and my cousin went to watch Priest 3D ~ hohoho~~~ !!! My mom and my aunt walk around the time square .

YoGjakarta , at Bumbu Desa Restaurant 2010

Having our dinner at Bumbu Desa Restaurant which was recommended by my brother . That small little basket infront of me is to contain rice . The photo up there was showing me waiting anxiously for the rice to be filled. What to do ? All the food that we choose already infront of me except the rice . The smell is so great ! While waiting for the rice , i am already drooling away. That orange color drink is Ice Jeruk .

The variety of chili and sambal they have . If you like hot and spicy , this is really going burn your tongue !

Ah , this, red rice !!! You can choose between red rice and white rice. I bet 100% that the red rice was just awesome !!!

I will show all the photo of the food that we eat .

Probably all the food that we eat was tofu , fish, chicken and vegetable . Probably ..... i really don't have any idea . The looks of the food is kinda of weird but some of them really taste excellent !

That shell , i really don't know how to eat . I try to forcefully suck it but the meat still won't come out . By the time i get one meat to come out of the shell, i am already out of oxygen . CPR please !!!! (just joking~)

The total price of all the dish including drinks is $221980 . Surprise ??? In indonesia's money ! When you use money there ,you will think that you are a million air there . All the money contains lots of 0 . The truth is , the money there are really small . So don't be surprise !

YoGjakarta , at Hyatt Regency Hotel 2010

For so many years , I've been waiting for .... celebrating Chinese New Year in other country finally come true!!! I always wish to have a family trip , leave the house without worrying anything and enjoy the trip . My brother was studying at Indonesia , Jogjakarta . It was a good chance and reason for us to have a family trip ! I have been praying and looking forward for weeks , so that nobody will disturb our trip . NOBODY!!! Let's put it aside and go to our main topic of this post . My brother book a hotel for us, we put all our things in and have a rest . After we recharge our energy , it was already considered night time there . My brother have plan
everything very nicely and Hyatt Hotel~~~~let's go!!!!

Reunion dinner at a 5 star hotel. Talking about hotel is all about buffet , but at Hyatt Hotel ... i give the food 3 star . I didn't eat much on that day . It doesn't suit my taste. That is the time i feel how rich people enjoy their expensive buffet , without eating and just for the sake of  ''mood''  .

They do have the feeling of what 5 star hotel is all about . To avoid embarrassment, we use fork and knife to eat. Very strict style . Hahahahaha!!! It was New Year Eve , so everything is red. It gave me shock when they suddenly appear lion and dragon dance while we are dinning !!!!

They come out like this , rounding where the dessert was in place . My dessert ~~~ ! Didn't manage to take before they come.

 

The lion dance was not bad ,except the drum ( sucks !). Wasn't even a chinese new year drum song , but it was a good entertainment for New Year Eve (live!) . A girl came with an empty ang pao, that's where you can identify those people who are rich  You can buy the ang pao from her , put the money inside , give to the lion and you can pat the lion or the lion will personally dance to you . Ahhh...you can see some rich man grandpa or father carrying his grandson or son giving ang pao and happily patting the lion. They also purposely buy the lion head toy for their children to play . Me ?

The champagne and some kuih . I didn't took the photo of the food there , you don't want to spoil your own appetite don't you ? Of course as i said in another post , hotel's buffet always change. It's not always this bad. If you can eat lamb or beef , there will be more food choices . Well , i break my religion's rules that day (again!) , i eat beef ( no choice! sorry) . It taste like pork, amazingly accepted . I didn't take the photo of it because it was totally black . Doesn't turn out to be appetizing ...

My mom took the dessert after the lion and dragon dance was gone .This was wonderful ! It was self mix. You can mix anything that have been prepared . Coconut , peanut , jelly and so on .

Finally ... after 21 years , a family photo ...sob sob (cry ~)!!! The only 4 of us !!!! Father , mother , brother and me !!!!

They have seats to enjoy the night view and some tradition music played by the workers there.

It is a very relaxing design . Their service is 5 star ! Very efficient ,very good and very extra ordinary polite ! If u ask the guard to call a taxi , taxi will suddenly appear within 5 minutes from don't know where ! I bet they are hiding behind those tree ? Impossible ! How they hide their taxi behind a tree ?
